Latest News - Freshwater Macroinvertebrate Species IdQ |
|
Congratulations to our staff members John Brophy and Marcin Penk who have both been awarded Identification Qualifications (IdQ) for Freshwater Macroinvertebrate Species from the Natural History Museum, London. IdQs are an accreditation of identification skills aimed at improving standards in environmental work by awarding certificates of competence in animal and plant identification to biologists and ecologists. The high pass mark of 90% is an acknowledgement of the importance of accurate species identification in all areas of ecological work, including baseline surveys for Environmental Impact Assessments and biological water quality monitoring.
EcoServe is the first ecological consultancy in Ireland to acquire this qualification, which illustrates our continued commitment to carrying out ecological work to the highest quality in meeting our clients’ requirements. |
